Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System in Reno County is seeking an Individual Placement and Support Specialist to deliver Supported Employment services and assist with job placement in collaboration with local businesses and the IPS Program Manager.

You will build partnerships, provide on-the-job coaching, and support clients through resume development, interview prep, and job search activities while adhering to person-centered, trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is preferred.
• Associate’s degree with additional 2+ years’ experience working with educating and teaching clients about self-care and daily living activities.
• CPST Case Management online training or Adult Case Management training are required/expected.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain relationships with employers to facilitate job placement of consumers.
• Set up job sites compatible with consumers’ wants and reasonable accommodation.
• Provide on-the-job coaching/education/training to enrolled consumers.
• Establish relationships with community agencies related to the project (e.g. KRS, employment services, SSA).
• Deliver IPS services including resume building, interview skills, and job hunting processes.
• Be devoted to person-centered, trauma-informed, culturally aware service.
• Collaborate with Direct Service providers and Treatment Teams for integrated client care.
• Develop and maintain a client-centered Treatment Plan with family and treatment team.
• Work with IPS Steering Committee to develop the IPS program and provide feedback.
