Job summary

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking an Supported Employment Specialist to help individuals in the program find jobs that fit their strengths and goals. The role focuses on IPS-informed job placement, employer engagement, and ongoing support in the community.

The position emphasizes timely referrals, accurate documentation, and adherence to behavioral health standards. Candidates should be comfortable working within multidisciplinary teams and maintaining professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Experience with IPS model and Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation guidelines.
• Ability to secure suitable job placements and liaise with employers.
• Strong caseload management and record-keeping skills.
• Proficient in documentation and charting per agency and accreditation standards.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries with individuals and families.

Responsibilities

• Secures job placement for individuals in their community and negotiates with employers.
• Make face to face contacts with individuals according to the IPS Model and Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency.
• Manage a caseload by ensuring all services are authorized and charts are complete and current.
• Link individuals to potential employers within 30 days of referrals based on preferences.
• Maintain charts in compliance with APS, QI, CARF, DBHDD standards and submit required reports on time.
• Complete all documentation daily and participate in weekly treatment/recovery team meetings.
