Job summary

Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System is seeking an Individual Placement and Support Specialist to deliver Supported Employment services and assist clients in finding meaningful work through partnerships with local employers and Vocational Rehabilitation.

The role focuses on building relationships with employers, providing on-the-job coaching, and ensuring trauma-informed, culturally aware service, while collaborating with IPS leadership and treatment teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Associate’s degree with 2+ years’ experience in client education/self-care.
• Must complete case management trainings within specified timelines (CPST, KHS, Adult Case Management).
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and a dependable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain relationships with employers to facilitate job placement.
• Work with employers to set up job sites aligned with clients’ needs and accommodations.
• Provide on-the-job coaching/education/training to IPS participants.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies relevant to the project.
• Deliver IPS services including resume building, interview skills, and job applications.
• Collaborate with treatment teams to ensure client-centered care.
