Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires degree or equivalent experience in social services.
• Experience in social services and counseling is preferred.
• Ability to engage clients and work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Follows IPS model of Supported Employment.
• Conducts career profile and vocational assessments.
• Engages clients and builds trusting, collaborative relationships toward competitive employment.
• Refers clients to benefits counseling as needed.
• Conducts job development and employer contacts (minimum 6 per week).
• Provides follow-along supports to maintain employment.
• Coordinates with mental health treatment teams to integrate vocational services.
• Spends the majority of time in the community meeting clients.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a social services-related field
