Job summary

Harbor, Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist to join the Toledo team.

The role supports individuals with mental health disabilities by preparing for employment, vocational assessment, guidance and placement in competitive markets using IPS/SE methods. Full-time position (40 hours/week) with responsibilities spanning intake, assessment, job placement, coaching, documentation, and collaboration with treatment teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or closely related behavioral/mental health field from an accredited college or university.
• Associate’s degree with four years of related experience accepted as substitution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general computer use required.

Responsibilities

• Provide IPS/SE based supported employment services including intake, engagement, assessment, job placement, coaching and follow along supports.
• Coordinate with mental health treatment teams and VR providers to support clients’ employment goals.
• Develop and update ISP employment components and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Counseling
