Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers seeks a dedicated employment specialist to provide IPS SEE services, helping clients find employment or school enrollment within community-based settings. You’ll assess needs, coordinate with the FEP team, and support job coaching and counseling to address barriers.

Role offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff, with emphasis on client-centered, culturally competent care and collaboration across clinics in Washington State.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Valid Washington State license/credential or ability to obtain ACA credential within 60 days from hire date.
• Must have access to a car and a valid driver’s license; proof of auto insurance.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; able to document and report findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide IPS Model SEE services to help clients find employment or school enrollment.
• Engage enrolled consumers about benefits of employment and education.
• Assess consumer interests, abilities and barriers to employment or education.
• Develop consumer-driven employment or education goals; coordinate with FEP team.
• Provide job coaching and supportive counseling to address symptoms affecting work/school performance.
