Job summary

Deloitte in Stamford, CT, seeks a Senior Manager to lead Capital Markets Transactions within Assurance–Technical Accounting & Reporting. You will oversee IPO, SPAC, and other CMT engagements, guiding accounting and reporting workstreams and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

The role requires extensive experience in capital markets, US GAAP, and technical accounting, with strong client relationship skills, project leadership, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or CFA or related certification preferred
• Strong understanding of capital markets transactions (IPO, SPAC) and GAAP

Responsibilities

• Oversee IPO, SPAC and other Capital Markets Transactions engagements
• Lead project planning, stakeholder management, and delivery of milestones
• Coach and mentor staff; conduct performance reviews and trainings
• Maintain and expand client relationships and identify new engagement opportunities
• Provide technical accounting guidance on reporting and standards (US GAAP/IFRS)
• Manage engagement budgets and timelines
