Job summary

Simbe Robotics is seeking an FP&A leader in the San Francisco Bay Area to own the 3-statement model, lead budget cycles, and drive forecasting with a hands-on, startup-speed mindset. This role reports to the COO and aims to build an IPO-ready FP&A function that scales with the company.

You will own reporting to the Board and lenders, manage cash forecasting, and partner with Sales, Operations, and Product to influence financial performance and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with FP&A leadership in a high-growth tech company.
• Experience owning a company-wide financial model and running scenario analyses for exec decisions.
• Experience with board reporting and fundraising or lender relationships.
• Cash forecasting, collections discipline, and strong cross-functional partnering.
• Hands-on with FP&A platforms and driving adoption of new analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Simbe's 3-statement financial model; run scenarios to guide decisions.
• Lead annual budget and quarterly re-forecasts; monitor variances and report findings.
• Assess headcount and investments; build data-backed business cases.
• Own cash forecast and shorten cash collection cycle; provide cash view.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly Board & investor reporting; support financing conversations.
• Drive S&OP metrics, deliver insights to move financial results; partner with ops, sales, product.
• Advance FP&A platform usage and AI-driven forecasting and reconciliation.
