Job summary

Menlo Ventures is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional in San Francisco to lead planning, budgeting and forecasting efforts aligned with business strategy. You will consolidate inputs from regional teams, monitor KPIs, and deliver insights to drive growth and cost efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in FP&A within tech/e-commerce, strong modeling, and fluency in English and Mandarin. You will collaborate across functions and implement AI-enabled improvements to reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years FP&A experience in fast-paced e-commerce or technology environments.
• Regional or global FP&A experience, ideally in e-commerce.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Solid accounting background and governance of financial processes.
• Proficiency with SAP and Anaplan.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain planning processes: annual budgeting, quarterly targets, monthly forecasting.
• Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term forecasts, budgets, and business plans aligned to strategy.
• Consolidate submissions from FP&A teams to support variance analysis and reporting.
• Monitor financial performance, KPIs, variances; provide insights and recommendations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive financial discipline, optimise cost structures, support growth.
• Collaborate with country/regional stakeholders to improve processes and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain accurate financial models, reports, and planning inputs.
• Support process improvements and AI-enabled reporting/tools.
