J2T Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Director of Technical Accounting to lead SEC reporting, manage complex US GAAP research, and build scalable processes for a high-growth, public-readiness environment.

The role oversees Form 10-K/10-Q reporting, ownership of ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 leases, and business combinations, with the potential to influence consolidation strategy and post-acquisition accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA required.
• 8+ years in accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
• Experience with public-company reporting, IPO readiness, or transaction-readiness.
• Expertise in SEC reporting and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee external financial reporting, including Form 10-K and 10-Q.
• Conduct technical accounting research and write whitepapers on US GAAP.
• Own future-state consolidations and partner with FP&A and regional teams.
• Support integration and purchase accounting for acquisitions.
• Liaise with external auditors on PBC deliverables and audits.
• Mentor and build out the team over time.
