Job summary

Avant Search seeks an experienced IPC training professional in Fountain Valley, CA to develop and deliver classroom and hands-on manufacturing training. The role trains employees on IPC standards and Lean/5S, maintains certifications, and records, and partners with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering to drive compliance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years IPC experience, strong IPC-A-610/620 knowledge, hands-on soldering/PCB inspection, and a CIT certification is

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IPC experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620.
• Hands-on experience with soldering, cable/harness assembly, or PCB inspection.
• Experience delivering production-floor technical training.
• Knowledge of Lean/5S and ability to read technical drawings and assembly documentation.
• IPC Certified Trainer (CIT) and aerospace/defense experience preferred.
