Job summary

SEAKR Engineering in Centennial, Colorado seeks a Production Trainer to develop and deliver manufacturing training for electronics workmanship standards (IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620). You will manage onboarding, certification, and training records, ensuring compliance across manufacturing, inspection, and labs.

As the primary internal instructor, you will coordinate with EHS, Quality, and Production Test, provide classroom and hands-on instruction, and maintain the training matrix.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronics manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and workmanship practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain instructor credentials for IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620; company sponsorship if needed.
• Ability to teach technical concepts and perform hands-on electronics assembly and workmanship tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple training and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as internal instructor for IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 with credentials management.
• Deliver classroom and hands-on training using IPC standards, procedures, drawings, and workmanship requirements.
• Maintain training and qualification matrix and manage expirations, onboarding, scheduling, and audit-ready records.
• Ensure training and qualifications are completed on time and report gaps to supervisors.
• Provide new-hire, refresher, and remedial training based on process changes and NCR trends.
• Coordinate with EHS & Facilities to deliver safety training and related topics.
• Identify opportunities to expand training to improve safety, quality, and performance.
