Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a seasoned Intellectual Property and Technology Pursuits & Directories Manager to lead compliant, on-time RFP and pitch responses. You will support IP and technology attorneys and collaborate with the Business Development’s Pitch & Proposal team on strategy and execution.

This role requires strategic thinking, strong writing and research skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline.
• 7 years' project/production experience including management of RFPs in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages the pitch and proposal response lifecycle from start to finish, guiding RFP responses, proposals and pitches.
• Organizes and conducts kick-off calls, determines requirements, assigns responsibilities and compiles information.
• Gathers market intelligence through audience, client/project needs and perception analyses.
• Conducts in-depth research to support strategy, including company, industry and competitive research using analytics.
