Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an Intellectual Property Pursuits & Directories Manager to join the firm’s Business Development Pitch & Proposal team. You will lead the development of compliant, on-time, client-centric RFP and pitch responses, supporting IP attorneys and leveraging analytics to win new business.

The role emphasizes collaboration with attorneys and staff, content creation, and quality control to deliver impactful proposals and maintain stock language libraries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with understanding of business development in a law firm environment.
• 7 years of project/production experience including RFP management in a professional services setting.
• Experience with management systems and presentation software.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pitch and proposal response lifecycle from start to finish.
• Provide strategic guidance for RFP responses, proposals and pitches.
• Gather market intelligence and conduct audience, client needs, and perception analyses.
• Conduct in-depth research to support strategy using sources like Docket Navigator and Lex Machina.
• Develop differentiating value propositions and win themes for clients.
