Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking an Intellectual Property Pursuits & Directories Manager to drive compliant, on‑time RFP and pitch responses within the Business Development’s Pitch & Proposal team. This role supports IP and Technology attorneys with a focus on patent litigation pursuits and client‑centric value.

You will lead research, content creation and quality control, coordinating across offices to position the firm for strategic wins while refining standard language for pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or related discipline.
• 7 years’ project/production experience, including management of RFPs in a professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the pitch and proposal response lifecycle from start to finish; provide strategic guidance for RFPs, proposals and pitches.
• Organize and conduct kickoff calls; determine response requirements and assign responsibilities.
• Gather critical market intelligence via audience analyses, client needs analyses and perception analyses.
• Conduct in-depth research to support strategy, including company, industry and competitive research using analytics platforms (e.g., Docket Navigator, Lex Machina).
• Identify and update information differentiating DLA Piper; create content; ensure on‑time delivery of responses.
