Job summary

DLA Piper seeks a seasoned Intellectual Property and Technology Pursuits & Directories Manager to support the firm’s strategic initiatives within Business Development’s Pitch & Proposal team. You will help win new business by crafting compliant, on‑time, best-in-class RFP and pitch responses in support of IP and technology litigation practice areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or related discipline.
• 7 years’ project/production experience to include management of RFPs in a professional services environment with database experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages the pitch and proposal response lifecycle from start to finish. Provides strategic guidance for RFP responses, proposals and pitches.
• Organizes and conducts kickoff calls. Determines response requirements and assigns responsibilities.
• Gathers market intelligence through audience, client/project needs and perception analyses.
• Conducts research to support strategy including company, industry and competitive research; uses analytics tools to develop data-driven insights.
• Identifies and updates differentiators, value propositions and client-centric benefits.
• Creates new content as needed and ensures timely delivery of responses.
• Maintains and refines stock language related to the firm, practice groups and sectors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
