Job summary

Jones Day seeks an IP Litigation Paralegal to support a project team of attorneys in Cleveland and other Firm offices as needed. Responsibilities include trial logistics, research, due diligence, and preparation of legal documents under supervision, with travel as required.

Required paralegal certificate or equivalent, 3+ years in litigation (IP focus preferred), and experience with e-filing, e-discovery, and exhibit management. Competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience in litigation; five+ years IP/litigation paralegal ideal.
• Familiarity with e-filing and e-discovery for ITC, USPTO, and federal courts.
• Experience supporting litigation through trial, including preparation and exhibit management.
• Ability to travel and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist a project team of attorneys in trial logistics and support.
• Conduct statutory, regulatory, or factual research for client matters.
• Participate in due diligence, privilege reviews, and file organization.
• Draft, edit, cite-check, and prepare legal documents under attorney supervision.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and manage billing/disbursement paperwork.
• Serve as liaison with support staff and firm offices; travel for trials as needed.
