Job summary

Jones Day seeks an IP Litigation Paralegal to support a team of attorneys across the firm, including the Cleveland office. Responsibilities include trial support, research, and managing client materials and pleadings.

Ideal candidates have a paralegal certificate or equivalent and 3+ years in litigation, with IP/litigation experience preferred. Travel and overtime may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum three years’ experience in litigation; five+ years in IP/litigation preferred.
• Familiarity with e-filing and e-discovery for federal courts, ITC, and USPTO.
• Prior experience supporting litigation matters through trial is preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trial logistics and pre-/post-trial tasks.
• Conduct statutory, regulatory, or factual research for client matters.
• Assist with due diligence, privilege reviews, and document management.
• Draft, edit, cite-check, and prepare legal documents under supervision.
• Coordinate filings, service lists, and communications with courts and vendors.
