Unknown is seeking a midlevel to senior Intellectual Property litigation associate in Houston to represent clients in patent disputes involving electronics, semiconductors, and related devices. The role spans federal courts, ITC, and PTAB with opportunities for impactful strategy and trial preparation.

Candidates should have a degree in computer science or electrical engineering, four or more years in patent litigation, and experience with district court matters, PTAB or ITC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Patent litigation experience with strong research and writing skills.
• Ability to analyze complex patent disputes and technical disclosures.
• Experience with district court patent litigation; PTAB/ITC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing patents and preparing invalidity and infringement contentions.
• Developing case strategy and working with technical experts.
• Drafting briefs and other substantive filings, managing discovery, and preparing witnesses.
• Taking and defending depositions and contributing to hearings and trial preparation.
• Collaborating with clients and colleagues across offices.
