Job summary

Applicants must hold a Computer Science or Electrical Engineering degree, have about four or more years of patent litigation experience, and be licensed or eligible to practice in the United States.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Approximately four or more years of patent litigation experience, with strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with district court patent litigation; PTAB or ITC experience is a plus.
• Must currently be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction where applying.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing patents and preparing invalidity and infringement contentions.
• Developing case strategy and working with technical experts.
• Drafting briefs and other substantive filings, managing discovery, and preparing witnesses.
• Taking and defending depositions and contributing to hearings and trial preparation.
• Working directly with clients and collaborating with colleagues across offices.
