Job summary

J T seeks a midlevel or senior IP litigation associate to represent clients in patent disputes involving electronics, semiconductors, and mechanical devices. Opportunity to handle matters in federal courts, ITC, and before the PTAB in a leading Intellectual Property & Technology Practice.

The role is within a firm with a large patent team and cross-office collaboration, offering substantial responsibilities and a path to leadership in complex matters.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 4+ years of patent litigation experience with strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with district court patent litigation; PTAB/ITC experience is a plus.
• Must be licensed or eligible to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patents and prepare invalidity and infringement contentions.
• Develop case strategy and work with technical experts.
• Draft briefs and other filings, manage discovery, and prepare witnesses.
• Take and defend depositions and contribute to hearings and trial prep.
• Work directly with clients and collaborate with colleagues across offices.
