Job summary

J T is seeking a midlevel to senior IP litigation associate to handle patent disputes involving electronics, semiconductors, integrated circuits, and mechanical devices. You will appear in federal courts, ITC, and before PTAB with substantial responsibilities.

The role requires a CS/EE degree, 4+ years of patent litigation experience, and bar admission or eligibility in the relevant jurisdiction. Collaboration across offices and client contact are integral.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Approximately four or more years of patent litigation experience, with strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with district court patent litigation; PTAB or ITC experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage substantial responsibilities on complex matters and work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing patents and preparing invalidity and infringement contentions.
• Developing case strategy and collaborating with technical experts.
• Drafting briefs and other substantive filings, managing discovery, and preparing witnesses.
• Taking and defending depositions and contributing to hearings and trial preparation.
• Working directly with clients and collaborating with colleagues across offices.
