- Minimum five years IP docketing experience.
- Advanced understanding of patent and trademark prosecution process and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and critical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Monitor docketing inbox and notices for patent and trademark prosecution from USPTO and foreign offices.
- Maintain CPi database including client/inventor data and foreign associates.
- Download daily mail from PAIR and docket accordingly.
- Compile reports for attorneys and assistants as needed.
- Follow up on loss of rights dates and clear docketed dates when completed.
- Add new matters to docket system as opened and docket newly filed applications.
- Ensure data integrity of CPi database and assist with training of clerks.
