Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking an IP Docketing & Data Manager to oversee patent docketing and manage the integrity of our IP data. The role combines managerial responsibilities with a focus on developing team skills and maintaining high standards of IP data management.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a law firm, and demonstrate strong project management abilities. Compensation for this full-time position ranges from $130,000 to $195,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in an IP-related role.
• Experience in docket system utilization.
• Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage the patent docketing function and ensure compliance.
• Supervise the IP Management System (IPMS).
• Conduct regular team training and identify skill gaps.
