Job summary

Cooley LLP is seeking an IP Docketing & Data Manager to lead the patent docketing function, ensuring compliance and accuracy. This role involves managing the IP Management System, liaising with various teams, and implementing improvements for efficient workflows.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of IP laws and procedures, as well as excellent project management skills. A hybrid work schedule is provided, merging in-office and remote work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in an IP-related role.
• Experience in docket system utilization, data management, and docket integrity.
• Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the patent docketing function ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Ensure quality checks and maintain communication with timekeepers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster teamwork and resources sharing.
