Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property to advise on IP matters across our AI cloud platform, software, and data center infrastructure, including licensing, trademarks, patents, and open source programs. You will partner with product, engineering, marketing and commercial teams to protect CoreWeave’s IP portfolio.

Reporting to the Managing Director & Associate General Counsel, Technology, IP & Product, you will draft and negotiate commercial agreements, develop IP playbooks,

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in at least one US state.
• 4+ years IP practice experience with trademark and/or commercial IP.
• Strong knowledge of US trademark law; familiarity with patent/copyright law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Manage trademark and domain name portfolio, including clearance searches and filings.
• Monitor infringement and handle brand protection and enforcement.
• Draft, negotiate, and review marketing, events, and brand agreements.
• Review materials for IP, advertising, and other legal risk.
• Develop IP playbooks, templates, and intake processes; train partners on IP best practices.
• Support IP team with invention disclosures, subpoenas, and litigation coordination.
