Job summary

CHENEGA RELIABLE SERVICES, LLC JBSA Lackland AFB, TX seeks an Intellectual Property (IP) Manager and Agreements Specialist to support researchers and developers. The role identifies and protects DoD intellectual property, facilitates technology transfer, and negotiates collaborative agreements with academia, nonprofit organizations, and industry.

The position develops training on IP management and supports program data reporting and oversight, coordinating with multiple stakeholders including

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in medical technology, transfer, transition, and/or commercialization.
• Minimum five years specialized experience in technology transfer.
• Minimum eight years’ experience providing technology transfer for IP protection, patenting, licensing and business development.
• Minimum three years analytical market experience in medical product industry.

Responsibilities

• Review research proposals to identify IP needing protection via patents, trademarks or copyrights.
• Develop invention disclosures with inventors and submit required documentation.
• Oversee patent submission processing and coordinate with legal offices.
• Develop and negotiate collaborative research agreements (CRADAs, MTAs, MOAs, MOUs, CTAs, PIAs).
• Provide project management support for DoD meetings and related events.
