Job summary

Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance Company (FMH) invites a qualified undergraduate to join a 2027 Summer Internship Program in Iowa. The paid internship runs May 17–Aug 6, up to 40 hours per week, with the potential to convert to full-time in the future.

Qualifications

Currently-enrolled sophomore, junior, or senior majoring in Agriculture (May 2027 graduates will not be eligible).
Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills are necessary.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Develops customer relationships by observing interaction between Territory Sales Managers, agents, customers and peers.
Gains understanding of MPCI vs Private Products within crop insurance.
Assists with Multi-Peril and Private Product claims and adjusting process.
Gains knowledge of how the organization is run and its industry role.
