QBE North America in Council Bluffs, IA is offering a Crop Underwriting Intern position blending hands-on training with real-world exposure to MPCI and Crop Hail insurance. You will work with a crop insurance underwriting team to support processes and learn lifecycle of crop insurance.

The internship runs from June 1, 2026 to August 6, 2027, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring four days on site per week.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Agriculture.
• Returning to college after the internship.
• Coursework or relevant experience with demonstrated achievements.
• Ability to start June 1, 2026 through August 6, 2027.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement coaching plans for performance and development.
• Learn Crop Insurance life cycle and processes.
• Process reports and applications; monitor and run reports.
• Assist underwriters with daily tasks and documentation.
• Use EASYwriter Pro Systems for processing.
• Audit insured/agent paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with UW team on projects; network with departments.
• Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders.
