Job summary

Perry Weather is seeking a Technical Support Specialist who wants to understand our weather safety platform at a level few support people reach. You’ll work with hardware sensors and our software data model to guide customers through their most frustrating situations, often on site or over calls, while maintaining calm and clarity.

You’ll own issues from first contact to resolution, read Grafana dashboards, analyze telemetry, and collaborate with hardware engineers to reproduce and fix problems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting a technical, complex product (hardware-enabled SaaS, IoT, or similar).
• Hands-on hardware curiosity; electronics/installs count.
• Tech fluency: read logs, configs, and trace events.

Responsibilities

• Master the hardware and software to support customers.
• Own issues from first contact to resolution across channels.
• Troubleshoot with data from Grafana, telemetry, and BI tools.
• Escalate with clear steps and reproduce issues where needed.
• Write playbooks and help articles to prevent repeats.
