Job summary

Vusion is seeking a Test and Validation Manager to lead end-to-end validation of Retail IoT products before customer pilots and scale-up. You will coach the Validation team and partner with globally distributed R&D teams across hardware, firmware, software, cloud, connectivity, and field operations to ensure products are integrated, reliable, and ready for real-world environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product validation, systems engineering, integration testing, quality engineering, or product development.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and complex cross-functional validation programs.
• Experience validating complex connected products.
• Experience defining validation strategies, test plans, release criteria, and measurable acceptance metrics.
• Embedded systems testing: hardware-firmware integration, device functionality, and system-level performance.
• Test automation: building automated testing frameworks to improve coverage and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Test & Validation team, building capability and accountability.
• Own product validation across hardware, firmware, software, cloud, connectivity, and customer workflows.
• Define validation plans, test coverage, integration checkpoints, performance targets, and release criteria.
• Ensure system testing across onboarding, telemetry, connectivity, data flow, and customer workflows.
• Monitor performance against quality and reliability metrics, identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Drive root-cause analysis across R&D, Product, Manufacturing, Field, and customers.
