Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking an IT Field Specialist to manage IoT and low‑voltage systems across apartment properties, including WiFi, cameras, door access, and A/V. You will survey sites, advise on tech improvements, and coordinate with vendors and property teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of technical field experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting budgets and project schedules. Seattle area travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or completion of technical courses.
• At least 5 years experience in a technical field working with low voltage cabling, AV, building entry systems or ISP.
• Understanding LAN/WAN technologies.
• Experience managing technical projects.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage time/workload.
• Excellent written, verbal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews IT/IoT systems on properties and ensures functionality.
• Supports Maintenance Supervisors/Directors and Property Managers in IT tasks.
• Assists in evaluating technology needs and budgets for video, audio, entry and surveillance systems.
• Manages internet/IoT systems, WiFi, cameras, access controls, AV, VoIP.
• Prepares weekly written reports for leadership.
• Travel within assigned metro area for property visits and vendor coordination.
