Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking an IT Field Specialist to oversee IoT systems and related property technology across markets. The role involves site surveys, vendor coordination, and recommending technology upgrades to enhance connectivity and security.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or technical training, 5+ years in low-voltage/AV systems, and strong LAN/WAN knowledge, with travel across the assigned market. Competitive salary and bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or completion of technical courses.
• At least 5 years experience in a technical field working with low voltage cabling, installing/maintaining audio-visual systems, building entry systems or Internet service providers required.
• Must have an understanding of LAN / WAN technologies.
• Must have experience managing technical projects.
• Excellent written, verbal and customer service skills are required; must be an effective communicator with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Reviews all IT / IoT systems on properties.
• Assists with department owners ensuring systems are functioning properly.
• Supports Maintenance Supervisors/Directors and Property Managers in a variety of IT support activities.
• Assists Property Managers and/or Regional Managers in evaluating technology needs.
• Review and/or build budgetary quotes for projects.
