Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking an experienced IT/IoT professional to oversee and optimize technology systems across our apartment communities in the Seattle market. You will manage wifi, cameras, access controls, A/V and VoIP, while coordinating with property managers and cross-functional teams.

The role requires at least 5 years in a technical field, strong LAN/WAN knowledge, and the ability to work independently with demanding timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical field working with low voltage cabling, installing/maintaining audio-visual systems, building entry systems or Internet service providers.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree, or completion of technical courses.
• Must understand LAN/WAN technologies and have experience managing technical projects.
• Excellent written, verbal and customer service skills; able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Strong computer proficiency in Google Apps and Microsoft Office; ability to use hand/power tools as needed.
• Local travel daily with overnight travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Reviews all IT/IoT systems on properties.
• Assist with department owners ensuring systems are functioning properly.
• Supports Maintenance Supervisors/Directors and Property Managers in IT support activities.
• Assists Property Managers/Regional Managers in evaluating technology needs.
• Manage internet and IoT systems at properties, incl. wifi, cameras, access controls, A/V, VoIP.
• Prepare annual operating budget for voice, video and data.
• Provide regular written reports summarizing site surveys and vendor meetings.
• Travel locally up to 50% to support connectivity projects.
