Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking an IT Field Specialist to manage IoT, leasing-office equipment, and low-voltage projects across properties in the Denver area. You will survey sites, recommend upgrades, troubleshoot systems, and coordinate with vendors within the Community Technology Group.

Responsibilities include monitoring wifi, cameras, door access, audio/visual systems, and building security, while preparing budgets and reports for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or completion of technical courses.
• At least 5 years experience in a technical field with low voltage cabling, AV systems, building entry systems or Internet service providers.
• Understanding of LAN / WAN technologies.
• Experience managing technical projects.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage time/workload effectively.
• Excellent written, verbal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviews IT/IoT systems on properties and ensures systems function properly.
• Supports Maintenance Supervisors/Directors and Property Managers in IT support activities.
• Assists in evaluating technology needs across properties.
• Recommends and participates in optimizing technology (video, audio, entry, surveillance).
• Prepares annual operating budgets for voice, video and data.
• Manages internet and IoT systems across properties in assigned markets.
• Collaborates with local teams to scope projects and draft budget quotes.
• Conducts site surveys and documents findings for bringing technology live.
