Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a driven Product Owner / Business Analyst to translate business needs into actionable product requirements and manage the backlog for Supply Chain and Logistics solutions. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver business value through Agile practices.

The ideal candidate has strong logistics and supply chain domain expertise, excellent communication, and experience partnering with stakeholders, engineering, and product leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required.
• 3+ years in Product Ownership, Business Analysis or related roles.
• Experience in logistics and supply chain tech domains.
• Strong Agile and SDLC knowledge; proven requirement-writing ability.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain PRDs defining problems, objectives, constraints, and outcomes.
• Define Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Translate workflows into detailed product requirements.
• Set product vision, objectives, success metrics, and sprint goals.
• Prioritize backlog to align with business priorities.
• Support quarterly planning, roadmaps, and capacity forecasting.
• Ensure functionality meets acceptance criteria and expectations.
• Coordinate product demos and stakeholder reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, operations, engineering, and UX/UI to define needs.
• Communicate roadmap, delivery timelines, and status updates.
• Clarify requirements and expected outcomes for development teams.
• Help define high-level solution approaches and data-driven improvements.
