Technical Product Manager (IOT/Bluetooth)

Optomi, in partnership with a leading global technology integrator, is seeking a Technical Product Manager to support the design, testing and deployment of a mobile Bluetooth orchestration module. This module will serve as the central controller for multiple mobile app experiences, integrating with both Android and iOS Bluetooth APIs and supporting a diverse ecosystem of vendor‑built mini‑apps.

This role requires deep experience in mobile product management, strong collaboration across engineering and vendor teams, and the ability to operate at both tactical and strategic levels. The ideal candidate blends hands‑on mobile product lifecycle experience with the ability to guide cross‑functional partners through complex technical integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years in a Technical Product Manager, Technical Project Manager or Mobile‑focused Product role
• Strong experience with mobile product development—designing, testing and deploying mobile software (Android & iOS)
• Hands‑on exposure to Bluetooth functionality within mobile environments (Bluetooth integrations, API interactions or orchestrations)
• Experience working within IoT or mobile ecosystems, especially where apps interface with multiple hardware or partner components
• Proven ability to collaborate with third‑party vendors and cross‑functional teams
• Experience managing both strategic initiatives and day‑to‑day technical execution
• Ability to write Epics, Features and User Stories, turning technical requirements into actionable development items
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to align engineers, vendor teams and product owners
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence and mobile development lifecycle workflows
• Demonstrated track record of supporting full mobile product delivery from design through deployment

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting or building products for large retail, CPG or manufacturing environments
• Background subcontracting with enterprise consulting groups or Fortune 50‑level organizations
• Experience managing mobile products used at large scale (national or enterprise deployments)
• Exposure to Bluetooth‑driven experiences in mobile shopping, logistics or in‑store applications

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate

• Lead the design, testing and deployment of a mobile Bluetooth orchestration module across Android and iOS platforms
• Translate high‑level technical requirements into clear Epics, User Stories and acceptance criteria
• Manage delivery across multiple engineering teams—supporting clarity, removing blockers, and ensuring smooth integration
• Facilitate cross‑team collaboration with internal engineers and external technology partners
• Maintain a transparent and prioritized roadmap aligned to stakeholder needs
• Coordinate testing cycles, validate results and guide iterative improvements
• Build strong relationships with product owners, engineering teams and vendor partners
• Support daily Agile activities including standups, backlog refinement and sprint planning
• Ensure consistency and quality across mobile modules, Bluetooth integrations and partner‑built functionality
• Document processes, workflows and system behavior to support long‑term maintainability
• Surface risks early, provide mitigation strategies and maintain delivery momentum
• Balance tactical execution with long‑term architectural thinking and strategic alignment
