Job summary

Dunmore is seeking an engineering-oriented student to support the engineering department on a short-duration project. You will shadow manufacturing processes, contribute to IoT monitoring and automation efforts, and assist in equipment upgrade planning.

Qualifications include progressing toward an engineering degree and coursework in materials, thermodynamics, controls, and systems design. Travel and lab/office work are expected.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's Degree in engineering (chemical, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or related).
• Core coursework in materials, thermodynamics, controls, process design, or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Shadow engineering team members to understand manufacturing processes on the floor.
• Assist IoT and automation initiatives; help design, implement, and optimize monitoring systems.
• Support equipment obsolescence projects and upgrade planning.
• Develop project scopes, timelines, and research new technologies with cross-functional partners.
• Present recommendations for engineering and process improvements.
• Maintain documentation of designs, tests, and results; contribute to standardization.
