Job summary

Dunmore International Corp. in Bristol, PA is seeking a Quality Assurance Intern to support the company’s Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement through data analysis, audits, and documentation improvements.

You will collaborate with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to standardize procedures, track KPIs, and enhance process visibility while gaining hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail with effective organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze data.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, Lean/Six Sigma, Power BI, or related quality and data analysis tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Management System standardization across Dunmore locations by reviewing and updating procedures, forms, work instructions, and related quality documentation.
• Assist with ISO 9001 and AS9100 readiness activities, including gap assessments, internal audit preparation, audit participation, documentation review, and follow-up activities.
• Collect, organize, and analyze quality data related to customer complaints, nonconformances, scrap, recurring defects, and other quality performance indicators to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities, including data gathering, action tracking, documentation, and effectiveness verification.
• Support development and maintenance of training and competency documentation, including skills matrices, qualification records, and related controlled documentation.
• Assist with development and reporting of Quality KPIs to improve visibility of department and process performance.
