Job summary

Dunmore International Corp. in Bristol, Pennsylvania is seeking an Intern-Engineering to support the engineering department on short-term projects, shadow manufacturing processes, and gain hands-on experience with IoT and automation initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document designs and test procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or related).
• Core coursework in materials, thermodynamics, controls, process design, or systems engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities; able to apply engineering principles to manufacturing challenges.
• Experience with data analysis tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain process understanding by shadowing engineering team members and observing equipment operation.
• Support IoT and automation initiatives to monitor production equipment and improve efficiency.
• Contribute to equipment obsolescence projects and plan upgrades or replacements.
• Develop and execute project plans, scopes, timelines, and research new technologies.
• Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams and provide regular progress updates.
• Documentation and continuous improvement through thorough design/testing documents.
