Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Engineering Manager, Embedded Firmware & Electrical Engineering (IoT Connectivity) to lead a world‑class team delivering new connected products. You will own the connectivity architecture and guide the end‑to‑end design from concept through production.

You will collaborate with cloud, marketing, and platform teams to enable device‑to‑cloud integration, drive security and certifications, mentor engineers, and build a robust roadmap.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded systems experience with connected/IoT devices.
• 3+ years of team leadership managing embedded firmware/electrical engineers.
• Experience taking from concept to production and certification.
• Expertise in C/C++ on microcontrollers with RTOS/Linux platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead a world-class team of embedded firmware and electrical engineers.
• Own connectivity architecture (BLE, Wi‑Fi, LTE‑M/NB‑IoT) and device-to-cloud interfaces.
• Define IoT firmware strategy including OTA updates and secure boot.
• Drive security practices, regulatory certification, and CI/CD processes.
