Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Engineering Manager for Embedded Firmware & Electrical Engineering (IoT Connectivity) at our Brookfield, Wisconsin headquarters. You will lead a world-class team delivering connected devices, own connectivity architecture, and drive end-to-end product development across hardware, firmware, and cloud interfaces.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of embedded systems experience with hands-on design of connected/IoT devices.
• 3+ years of team leadership managing embedded firmware and/or electrical engineers.
• Expertise in C/C++ embedded programming and RTOS/Linux platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world-class team of embedded firmware and electrical engineers.
• Own the connectivity architecture for devices (BLE, Wi‑Fi, cellular) across hardware, firmware, and cloud interfaces.
• Design end-to-end embedded IoT solutions from concept to production.
• Define IoT firmware strategy including OTA updates and fleet management.
• Drive device security, regulatory certification, and secure communications.
