Job summary

The position is full-time, with standard 1st shift hours and a focus on safety, documentation, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, controls troubleshooting, and industrial networking.
• Experience with Ethernet, CC-Link, serial communications, IP addressing, and system integration.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Manufacturing, TS, and ISO standards.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis, PFMEA development, and design reviews.
• Strong communication skills across departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering project schedules and capital investment projects.
• Develop and support proprietary IoT systems for machine connectivity and data collection.
• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and electronic control systems.
• Support IoT integration, EDI systems, and manufacturing technology improvements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and TPS principles.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.
• Create technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
