Job summary

Japanese IT company in Plano, TX is seeking a Project Manager to lead global initiatives from pre-sales through deployment, coordinating scope, schedules, budgets and risk mitigation.

You will create timelines, report status to management, serve as a primary contact for cross-functional teams, and support RFQ/RFP responses, SOW deliverables, and client communications.

• Lead RFQ and RFP response activities.
• Support SOW deliverables: requirements, design docs, integration guides.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Analyze status and revise schedules or budgets to satisfy requirements.
• Maintain relationships with client stakeholders and communicate status daily.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Lead global projects from the pre-sales phase through definition and deployment, identifying schedules, scope, budget estimates, implementation plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Create project timelines.
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and elevate issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan.
• Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
• Lead RFQ and RFP response efforts.
• Support the development of project documentation, including requirements specifications, design documents, integration guides, and other deliverables as defined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise schedules or budgets to ensure project requirements can be met.
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day communication regarding project status and changes.

Preferred Skills

• 3-5+ years of direct experience in new product development and introduction in one or more of the following technology areas:
  Mobility
  Telematics
  Internet of Things (IoT)
  Network Access Devices
• 3-5+ years of Project Management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Monday.com.
• Ability to communicate in both English and Japanese is preferred, but not required.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
