Job summary

VDart Inc. seeks a Telematics Consultant for a full-time role in Plano, TX. You will lead automotive projects, coordinating across teams and with clients to define objectives and deliverables.

Success requires strong stakeholder relationships, in-vehicle testing experience, and familiarity with infotainment systems; Toyota ecosystem knowledge is a plus. You will drive planning, budgeting, and progress reporting to ensure compliant delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in Telematics and Infotainment systems with in-vehicle testing.
• Toyota experience is a plus due to large internal/external teams.
• Automotive connected car experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project objectives and scope aligned with business goals.

In the assigned Job Role of Engineering Project Lead 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Define project objectives and scope in alignment with business goals, ensuring efficient delivery in collaboration with stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates to ensure alignment and transparency
• Ensure all product deliverables meet design and technical specification to ensure that all engineering processes align with regulatory standards and quality benchmarks
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes
• Develop and run project estimates, monitor budget performance, and optimize resource allocation for efficiency
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals, aligning them with 1 client needs and organizational capabilities
• Engage in planning resource allocation, conduct performance appraisals, and facilitate professional development to enhance team effective
• Run scope changes and manage client requirements, ensuring proper estimation, approval, and contractual updates
