Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering is required.
• 2+ years in a consumer-oriented product environment.
• Experience with thermostat/sensor tech and IoT is a plus.
• PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software, product, Sales and engineering teams to define the product.
• Coordinate UEI products for consumer electronics and connected home customers.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and use cases; align with Sales.
• Review source code to understand software behavior.
• Answer questions on software integration, cloud communication, and OS needs.
• Lead and author the product specification to kick-off.
• Define product requirements for software, electrical and mechanical needs.
• Drive design feasibility and cost information.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to agree timelines.
• Lead cost and NRE estimation discussions with Sales.
• Articulate technical visions to engineering and executives.
• Maintain frequent contact with customers about development questions.
