Job summary

Peloton is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to design, build, and ship native Swift applications across iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS. You will collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to deliver high-quality features for millions of users.

Expect to work with SwiftUI, UIKit, MVVM, and RESTful APIs, while owning features and contributing to a culture of mentorship and growth. The role is hybrid with a New York City base, offering comprehensive benefits and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of iOS development experience shipping apps to a large user base.
• Strong foundation in SwiftUI, UIKit, MVVM architecture, Git, and RESTful API integrations.

• Ability to translate UX/UI requirements into code and communicate complex technical solutions to both engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders.

About the Role

Our team owns the apps that bring the company’s world-class workout experience to iOS, tvOS, and watchOS. We build native Swift applications that engage both our connected-hardware members and mobile-only subscribers. As a critical growth engine for the company, our apps deliver high-quality fitness content across a wide range of price points.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners to design, build, and scale features that meet our highest quality standards, directly shaping how millions of users interact with the the company brand.

Your Daily Impact

• End-to-End Feature Development: Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to build, test, and ship engaging features across iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and watchOS.

• Architecture & Innovation: Participate in architectural discussions and leverage modern frameworks like SwiftUI to build high-performance client-side features.

• Technical Ownership & Team Collaboration: Take ownership of features within a nimble team environment while actively participating in a supportive culture that values mentorship, open feedback, and career growth.

You Bring To the company

• Experience: 3+ years of iOS development experience (or equivalent education) shipping apps to a large user base.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong foundation in SwiftUI, UIKit, MVVM architecture, Git, and RESTful API integrations.

• Clean Code Practices: A passion for writing readable, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.

• Communication & Collaboration: Ability to effectively translate UX/UI requirements into code and communicate complex technical solutions or trade-offs to both engineering peers and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points

• Experience working with device-centric frameworks such as CoreLocation, CoreMotion, or hardware integrations.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range

$140,389—$168,467 USD
