Job summary

Compass is seeking an iOS Software Engineer II in Boston to help build a mobile platform for home buyers and sellers. You will design, implement, and deliver features with engineers, product, and design partners, while ensuring high code quality and scalable architecture.

You will participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation, contributing to an agile, startup-like environment that aims to delight users with elegant, reliable apps.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift (incl. SwiftUI) and shipping apps to the App Store.
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering stakeholders to implement solutions.
• Knowledge of CS fundamentals and iOS design patterns/best practices.
• Keen eye for design and user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience integrating with RESTful backend services.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
