Job summary

Expedia Group in Seattle seeks an iOS Engineer II to join the Search Entry team. You will build and maintain iOS apps, translating product requirements into mobile solutions using Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI, while collaborating across engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver features from development through production.

The role emphasizes API integration, data modeling, and robust design principles, with a focus on AI/ML-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in mobile development.
• Proficiency in Swift and core iOS development, including UIKit or SwiftUI, with API design/consumption and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, test, and maintain iOS applications that deliver reliable, intuitive experiences for travelers and partners.
• Translate product requirements into well-structured mobile solutions using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and established iOS development practices.
• Contribute to system design, low-level design, API integration, data modeling, and technical decisions within a service or product domain.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and quality partners to deliver features from development through production operation.
• Apply debugging, testing, monitoring, and operational practices to improve application quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions that improve outcomes, while building familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, workflows, and applying AI/ML concepts to real-world products.
