Expedia Group in Austin, TX is seeking a Mobile Engineer III (iOS) to lead and deliver high‑quality iOS features within the VR Differentiators team. You will work with Swift, SwiftUI/ UIKit, and collaborate with Android, Web and backend teams to enable compelling shopping experiences for millions of travelers.

You will mentor others, contribute to shared mobile patterns, and safely integrate AI/ML capabilities into production apps, while advancing engineering practices in a fast-paced, inclusive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Swift and iOS/iPadOS development with modern UI frameworks.
• 3+ years of mobile architectures (MVVM, VIPER) and testability.
• Ownership of features within an iOS app and API/data model integration.
• Proficient with UIKit/SwiftUI, concurrency, networking, persistence and testing.
• Familiar with AI-driven systems and safe integration into mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship high-quality iOS features using Swift and modern frameworks.
• Translate requirements into technical designs, API design and data models.
• Write robust, testable Swift code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure backend compatibility.
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering practices within the team.
• Safely integrate AI/ML-enabled capabilities in mobile applications.
